Chace

As we may have mentioned in this blog before, the Waverly Inn is a bit of a hot spot (that was understatement, by the way). But when Amy Astley hosted an intimate soirée there last night after the Burberry fragrance launch, the back room was even more glamorous than usual. We didn’t really think that was possible after we once spotted Cameron Diaz seductively ladling noodles into her mouth, but we digress. Mary-Kate Olsen, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Margherita Missoni, Lily Donaldson, Olivia Thirlby, and Leigh Lezark were the pretty faces flanking the editor in chief of Teen Vogue, but the competition for most handsome face was a fist-to-fist dual between Chace Crawford and Hugh Dancy. While there was no sure winner in the chiseled-cheeks competition, we did conduct a poll of the guests. At the end of the night the scorecards were tied with two votes apiece for Dancy (Missoni and Donaldson stuck with their fellow Euro) and Crawford (Lezark and Olsen decided to support the Texan "Gossip Girl" star, just to be fair). We’re down to conduct more polls like this in the future. Just saying.
