If eBay ever had a couture section, it would probably look something like the Daphne Guinness auction that will take place at La Galleria in London on April 29. The people at Kerry Taylor Auctions, in association with Sotheby’s, have just put the lots—and there’s a lot of them—on their Web site, and we’ve already heard reports of mouths watering over Dolce & Gabbana snakeskin boots and Hermès wedge sandals, Yves Saint Laurent evening gowns and original Roland Mouret Galaxy dresses, Lanvin coats, and Tom Ford-era Gucci trousers. One has to wonder what Guinness is keeping if she’s getting rid of this stuff. All the lots will be available to view on April 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 29 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
