Harmon

Kellys, Birkins, and Ferragamo Varina flats were in heavy rotation Tuesday as the ladies-who-lunch crowd gathered in Beverly Hills to toast Angie Harmon and her husband, Jason Sehorn, on the work they’ve done on behalf of the Los Angeles-based Children’s Institute, Inc. Tinseltown’s old guard—former first lady Nancy Reagan, Betsy Bloomingdale, and Barbara Davis, among them—gathered to honor the actress, whose philanthropic contributions have become as well documented as her fashion choices. Following a presentation of the Fall 2008 Oscar de la Renta collection, Harmon, clad in a black and cognac print dress by the designer, thanked the audience, which included up-and-comer Kate Mara. “We’re just doing what we feel is normal and required,” Harmon offered in response to the recognition. “We do it because
we’re supposed to.”
