mystery man

July 28, 2008  12:16 pm

Vivinevo

Vivi Nevo invests in high-profile media companies, is engaged to Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang, and frequently shows up in the front row and at fashionable parties, and yet very little is known about the 43-year-old Israeli. Over the last couple of years, a number of socially minded magazines have had the cigar-waving Nevo in their sights, but never felt they had enough material for a profile (he makes a habit of not speaking to the press). Now the New York Times has published a 2,500-word piece on the man and concluded that he’s—well, a bit of a mystery.
