Love at First Sight: Phi’s Napa Biker Boots

August 29, 2008  11:57 am

What: Footwear that takes a walk on the wild side

Why: Because nothing says “I’m a total badass” quite like a pair of four-figure studded leather platform boots. Plus, the detachable top cuff makes for great biker bijou.

Where: $950, down from $1,595, at Phi, 71 Greene Street, NYC, (212) 966-0076.

  1. As an European I have to say we have a different taste then Americans. That isn’t bad or a shame, but these boots are made for walking as Nancy Sinatra ones song in the 70s. On the otherhand you have to be a strong woman to wear them. I think the average people would disgusted by it, so let it be. I would admire a woman who dares to wear them in public, and not during a bike ride. Oh by the way you don’t have to be a badass if you put on leather platform shoes.
