7:30 a.m.
Waking up was extremely difficult after only an hour and a half of sleep. I do ten minutes of Kriya yoga to start the day right.
10:30 a.m.
I’m still working on adjusting the seating for the Kai Kuhne show, which is today at 8:00 p.m.!! The confirmations continue to fill the RSVP in-box, especially after Eric Wilson’s article for The New York Times came out on Sunday.
11:30 a.m.
I’m running late for my other show today, Macqua, which starts at 3 p.m.
3:30 p.m.
Today’s first show for Nouveau-PR, Macqua, begins after quite a delay. This is designer Meike Vollmar’s first show in New York, and it’s very well received, so I guess the delay wasn’t too much of a problem.
6 p.m.
Eyebeam, where Kai Kuhne will be showing in a few hours, is in a frenzy, with people everywhere preparing for the show. However, I’m completely calm. I know that Kai’s show is going to run smoothly and be an incredible success.
8:45 p.m.
Roísín Murphy, Julia Stiles, Rita Ackermann, and a great mix of the fashion public are seated between three runways. Nico’s “Nibelungen Einlanten” begins to play, and the show starts.
