6 a.m.
Wake up, put on my The Row T-shirt and shorts, grab my iPod, and head outside to run in the park before the boys wake up. I have been listening to Estelle’s album, which I am loving. We are releasing a CD for holiday to benefit Save the Children and we will be featuring one of her tracks on the album.
8 a.m.
After showering, I slip into a rust-colored Carolina Herrera dress and Pierre Hardy pumps. Then I get the boys dressed and drop them off at school on my way downtown.
10 a.m.
Arrive at the Carolina Herrera show. I am so busy this week with our presentation, but it is important to me that I make time to support the designers I love. The show is fantastic, of course. Next I go to the office to meet our stylist Samira to review final looks for the show.
12 p.m.
At my office for the hair/makeup test with Bobbi Brown and Yannick. We discuss the inspiration for the Spring collection and decide on a strong smoky eye, pale pink lips, and natural wavy hair.
12:30 p.m.
Run uptown for a quick bite to celebrate one of my best friends’ birthdays at Swifty’s. Unfortunately, I can’t stay long because I have to get back to the office for last-minute fittings.
2 p.m.
Meet with the design team. We decide to add a floral-print halter dress in at the last minute. It is one of my favorite looks of the season and I cannot imagine the show without it.
4 p.m.
My friend Dana Veraldi stops by. She designs a line of T-shirts and matching totes that feature sketches on them of different personalities she admires—she has featured everyone from André Leon Talley and Barack Obama to Hamish Bowles. For our show she designed a T-shirt featuring Prince that we will be pairing with a high-waisted skirt. Prince wears our tunics and I am a big fan of his so we thought it would be a fun item to show.
4:30 p.m.
Head down to the Armory for the Proenza Schouler show. I am a huge fan of everything they do. The attention to detail in their designs is incredibly inspiring.
7 p.m.
Head home to get ready for dinner with the boys. School started this week and they already seem to be busy with homework. Nick and Henry, my 10-year-old twins, are much more interested in skateboarding in the park than working on their math assignment. My 7-year-old, Sawyer, is reading a book called Bones and the Dinosaur Mystery, which he has asked me to read with him before he goes to sleep.
8 p.m.
Get the boys ready for bed and head out to a friend’s birthday party. I decide to wear our new sequined black minidress for Spring. I was planning on wearing it to our presentation tomorrow but decided it was the perfect dress to wear tonight.
11 p.m.
Curl up in my bed with our new dog, Hercules, in my Tory Burch pajamas. I’m so happy to be home after a long day and I’m excited for tomorrow.

Love Tory, and I love the fact that she takes the time to see and compliment other designers that is a kind heart. She is also a busy Mom so that has to be tough for her. Love her enthusiam!
