club monaco gets smart for fashion week
If you see a fleet of logo’d Smart cars zooming around town this week, no, it’s not a traveling-dignitaries ultra-chic motorcade. Club Monaco partnered with Smart to customize a set of ten Smart Fortwos with the label’s logo and fall ad campaign, and it’s sending the zippy little vehicles to various spots to surprise weary showgoers with scarves, jewelry, and other accessories, all packaged in special “THINK SMART. THINK FASHION. THINK CLUB MONACO” tote bags. The festivities kicked off this morning at Club Monaco’s flagship store on 57th Street, where the cars were lined up outside the building—one was even parked inside the store’s entrance—and a sketch artist was crafting a custom installation in the front window.
