fashion forward, on your screen now

September 28, 2008  6:47 pm

Bastian and Nolan and Varvatos, oh my! An impressive roster of designers will be showing off their creations during the second annual Fashion Forward party at Skylight Studios on November 10th. A salute to the industry’s ongoing commitment to fighting HIV/AIDS, the night will not only feature a Bryant Park-worthy fashion show, but also a live and silent auction hosted by Tim “Make It Work” Gunn. To whip up a little pre-event buzz, host GMHC (Gay Men’s Health Crisis) produced a 30-second commercial featuring beautiful people (read: models) wearing stylish duds and shimmying to vaguely Latin techno beats. Starting this week, the spot will air on WNBC. But you can check it out here first.

  1. Many stylish thanks to Evelyn Crowley for writing about GMHC’s Fashion Forward. Last year’s event was scrumptious and beautiful! I look forward to this year’s event as I am certain it will be supreme!
