london’s first fashion couple on new york

September 6, 2008  9:37 am

At Thursday night’s Christie’s Resurrection dinner at Indochine, best mates Henry Holland and Agyness Deyn held court at what Deyn cheekily referred to as the “bridal table.” “Henry and I are like fashion husband and wife,” explained the platinum-blond model. Did she mind that she wasn’t the only muse in his life? “Oh no, we’re all one big happy family.” “Yes, it’s a shame I’m gay,” chimed in Holland. “Then again, my boyfriend doesn’t get jealous when I’m flanked by all these beautiful women. So I suppose it’s the best of both worlds.” And how did the British duo think New York fashion week sized up to London? “New York is more commercial. London’s a bit more fun and feels a bit younger,” offered Holland. Deyn disagreed. “I think the biggest difference is that here it’s sunny, whereas there, it might rain.” Well, yes, but then London doesn’t usually get hurricanes.
