man with a (fashion) van

September 24, 2008  9:08 am

Net-a-Porter.com has long had its packaging down pat. Getting one of those beribboned black boxes is almost as good as getting a gift, even if you did pay for it yourself. But up until now, New York has lagged behind London in the presentation department. Same-day delivery has been available in both cities, but only in the U.K. has your package been dispatched in a Net-a-Porter logo-ed vehicle. No more: This week the online retailer is debuting two snazzily turned-out Dodge vans for deliveries in Manhattan.
