Must or Bust: Exhibitionist alert

September 22, 2008  5:23 pm

What: The transparency trend

Why: Because we’ve been seeing a lot of some people lately

Who: Agyness Deyn was a clear fan of the trend in a playful peekaboo top at the post-show party for House of Holland in London last week, while two coasts away, Erin Wasson revealed her body-con bias at the Teen Vogue party in L.A. the next night.

The Verdict: Does it make you look nonchalantly on trend or just overexposed?

You decide. Comments welcome.

  1. I like it on the runway, but it is not appropriate for real life.

  2. I think the trend is ridiculous. Might as well not even get dressed anymore. The dress itself is beautiful but would look much CLASSIER with a slip.

  3. The dress is gorgeous but it’s a bit tacky not to wear a slip underneath. Oh, how I miss decency.

  4. Hard to dislike a picture of a pretty girl in her panties but a flesh colored lining would give the illusion of nudity which would look less contrived and more timeless. We all know that looking like you’re trying to hard is fashion death but she is so young and fresh and a good example of how rules for the young and older differ greatly.
