this just in: hack’s playlist for suzy’s party

If you’re experiencing a touch of Cinderella syndrome being in New York while fashion month reaches its grand, final stretch an ocean away, take heart. Jefferson Hack just sent us his playlist for Suzy Menkes’ 20th International Herald Tribune anniversary party tonight at the Palais Galliera. (Hack was inspired by the Supremes exhibit at the V&A, ergo a certain Motown feel. The rest, he says, is “the kind of music that makes me smile and makes me want to dance.”) Our suggestion: paper your walls with the IHT‘s style pages, turn on the tunes, and voila: It’s like you were there. And if you’re going to be there tonight, here’s a chance to test out your dance moves.
