So, fashion week’s been pretty tight so far: nice clothes, nice parties, nice chitter-chatter on the side. But admit it, the thought has crossed your mind: Wouldn’t this all be just a little more fresh if Foxy Brown were making the scene? Well, fashion week just got a whole lot fresher, because you can catch Fox at the hot spot, natch, as she takes a front-row seat at Alexander Wang’s show today. Just. Don’t. Freak. Out. Because if you do, not only will you look a touch unawesome to fellow front-rowers Erin Wasson and Alice Dellal, as well as all those CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund judges who will be in attendance, but your chances of making into Wang’s “Industrial Rain Forest” after-party for Foxy’s live set will also be taking a pretty steep dive. That’s right: Word on the street has it that Foxy will be performing a couple classic tracks circa 10:30 p.m., and given that word comes from Mr. Wang himself, it stands to be good. “I’ve always loved her,” Wang explains, “and the new collection has a sort of Foxy Brown vibe to it, so we just went ahead and asked if she’d perform. I’m still kind of amazed she said yes, but actually, she’s been super-great and up for it.” No diva demands, then? “No! Or OK, one. It happens to be her birthday, so she demanded a cake.”
