As the economy continues to unravel, it’s only natural to self-obsess and mentally shelve the world’s bigger problems. UNICEF, however, continues to work to keep us from forgetting those whose worries are more immediate than their 401(k)s. The charity is once again sponsoring its Frimousses de Créateurs doll show, in which various fashion houses (including Chanel, Christian Dior, Celine, and Moschino, pictured) all contribute a customized version. The designs will be on display at the Petit Palais in Paris from November 18 to 23, and will be auctioned off at Drout on November 27, with proceeds going to prevent and treat childhood diseases in Darfur, Chad, and the Central African Republic.
