paris fashion week: swag of the week: LV platforms

October 6, 2008  3:59 pm

The collective feeling after the Louis Vuitton show yesterday morning was already one of jubilance, but trust Marc Jacobs to know how to keep the party going. Post-show, the designer handed out pairs of the patent tasseled platforms that had just walked down the catwalk to his favorite editors, thereby not only securing his position as top-favored designer, but ensuring that the LV name remained on everyone’s lips. Sure enough, by the time Lanvin started later that afternoon, Fran Burns from i-D and Victoria Young from Pop were already showing off their new kicks to the entire British contingent in block D. Jacobs certainly knows how to seal the deal.

  1. What a way to end the show. Swags like this are certainly meant to be appreciated!
