paris fashion week: watching the debate from the ritz
October 2, 2008 4:12 pm
Come 3 a.m. in Paris, the Ritz Bar has usually been closed for hours. But not tonight. Vogue publisher Tom Florio has negotiated with the hotel’s general manager to open the bar at 2:45 a.m. and install a TV so that Florio’s colleagues assembled here for the fashion shows can watch the vice presidential debate. The best part? The dress code is strictly pajamas and sweatpants.
