topshop, where art thou?

Topshop’s newest designer collection is “shrouded in mystery.” Whether Topshop will ever actually open in New York remains mysterious as well.

In case you missed the Hollywood Life Style Awards (it’s OK, we’ve never heard of them either), here’s a roundup of the best and mostly worse looks on the red carpet (check out Christina Hendricks’ plaid-about-you look, pictured). Even better than being there.

The Washington Post’s Robin Givhan takes on the recession and dresses down American designers for their insistence on dressing up. Her battle cry? No sequined jumpsuits!
