A Woman Under The Influence

Last Thursday, we featured this white Antonio Berardi dress with black lace paneling in a story about skeletons, X-rays, and the like inspiring designers’ Spring looks. Less than a week later Gwyneth Paltrow wore it to the premiere of Two Lovers in Paris. Coincidence or something more?

I saw Gwyneth profiled in this dress on http://www.thesun.co.uk and I found this ‘sexy look’ underwhelming.
Her stylist has forgotten why some trends come and some trends go, and this one needs to go. These two photos are a perfect example of how not to wear the ‘latest look’
Shorten the hem, get her a pair of shoes that flatter her frame in this dress and ditch the damn sox!!
I think she looked fab. It is different, she took a risk and at least it got people talking, the great thing about fashion is that it doesn’t have to be safe it can be fun…
Gwyneth seems to be popping up all over thanks to her finely-tuned fashion sense….
