From Garcons To Goa: Williamson Next At H&M

Proving that great fashion really is all about the mix, H&M announced today that its next designer collaborator is Matthew Williamson. The news, of course, comes hot on the heels of the Swedish company’s hyper-successful joint effort with Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garñons. Aesthetically, the two labels couldn’t be further apart, but considering the Swedish company’s remarkable talent for whipping the fashion-loving masses into a frenzy, the global hysteria will likely be comparable. Williamson will have a women’s collection out in late April and then a second delivery of both men’s and women’s in mid-May.

  2. holy good lord, i am really excited for this collection. granted, i wouldn’t wait on line for it (i don’t have nearly enough patience), but i am definitely going to count down the days.

    the comme collection bored me, so i’m really hoping that williamson have something great up his sleeves.
