While the rest of us are hunkered down, poring over electoral projections at www.fivethirtyeight.com tonight, Richard Gere, Alec Baldwin, Bob Colacello, and assorted other boldfacers will be raising a glass to the legendary Robert Rauschenberg—and raising their paddles to support the Coalition for the Homeless at Artwalk NY. Featured artists at the 14th annual event include Jenny Holzer, Ed Ruscha, and Chuck Close, but one of the more unusual auction lots is a portrait sitting with photographer Leslie Lyons. Included in the package are a pre-shoot image consultation, a pair of limited-edition Stronghold Denim jeans, and a coif at the Cutler Salon. If you like the look of her Kim Gordon photo shown here, and you can tear yourself away from the latest poll numbers, tickets to the event are still available at the door. Call (212) 776-2056 for details, or show up at 6:30 in your artsy best at the Metropolitan Pavillion, 125 W. 18th St.
