Gabbana: Fur In July Like Strawberries in Winter

December 11, 2008  2:15 pm

The Gabbana half of Dolce & Gabbana hates strawberries in winter and buying fur coats in July. He’s not the only one who finds fashion’s current state of affairs to be out of whack.

What would a recession/
depression be without bootleg liquor and (new this decade!) shopping speakeasies? For those who can afford it, high-end shopping is all about “stealth consumption.”

Looking good is the best revenge. Looking good naked on the cover of a national magazine is really much better.

  1. Its welknown that Stefano is seperated from his former partner Domenico Dolce, Because of their business they work still togheter, but actually they hate it to work togheter. Different opinions, a different view on what fashion is or could or would be! The most amazing thing is they still are togheter. What the opinion is of Mr. Gabbana isn’t important it’s the opnion of the buyers of whatever piece of clothes that matters. But without a doubt he’s one of the great designers of the last and coming years.
