It seems that fashion’s Spring 2009 infatuation with celebrity campaign faces isn’t ending with Madonna for Louis Vuitton and Katie Holmes for Miu Miu. According to Style File’s sources, Scarlett Johansson has not only inked a deal to front a beauty campaign for Italian giants Dolce & Gabbana, she’s already been shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the gig. While the details are still under wraps— whether the campaign is for a new fragrance, or something else—one thing we can bet on is that it wasn’t a stretch for Scarlett to pour her curvy frame into the clothes. Not only has she worn the house’s wares on multiple occasions, she was also Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce’s date for this year’s Met ball. They say these things happen in threes. Perhaps the Madonna/ Katie/Scarlett celebrity fashion triumvirate is now complete. We can think of at least one group that hopes it’s so: models.

It’s a pity that so many designers uses celebs to show their collection or fragrance etc. To be a model you have a tough competition and nowadays all the celebs wont give them any chance to succeed in the profession of a model, okay only on the catwalk. What does it matter that Mrs. Johansson or whatever she is called is a admirer of Dolce and Gabbana. There are more people which like the collections of Dolce etc. Did you ever heard of them see them in an ad, or whatever. The real models are the woman who wear this daily on the streets of Rome, Milan, NYC and other places. Not a dumbt actress which wanna to be also noticed like a model, despite that she hadn’t the attitude. That’s the grazy thing about designers, they know they can sell a lot more if they use a celeb, but their collection isn’t properly showed by an actress or whoever celeb. Give the models of today a chance, don’t use celebs anymore, because actually they are boring wearing designers clothes. Only mine humble opinion, so Grazie for your attention
