Marc Shares Sprouse Love With The World (Wide Web)

December 15, 2008  11:30 am

This Wednesday Louis Vuitton will launch Welovesprouse.com, a site that pays tribute to the world of Stephen Sprouse and, of course, Marc Jacobs’ Sprouse-inspired redux collection. It’s shaping up to be an MJ and Sprouse addict’s dream. Along with video of the Spring 2001 show at which the original graffitied bags debuted, there are interviews with friends of the iconoclastic designer, including Style.com’s Candy Pratts Price, Debbie Harry, Jeffrey Deitch, and Jacobs himself. An interactive section called Scrawl the Wall lets fans write graffiti testimonials on a virtual wall. For a sneak preview of Marc Jacobs holding forth on both Sprouse and his new collection, click to view below.
