Kanye To Live The Goude Life?

With Marion Cotillard drowning in a sea of air kisses from ardent admirers and Dita Von Teese , the pre-show scene yesterday at Dior was pretty glamorous. But further down the front row, deals were being negotiated as Kanye West, attending his first couture show, was introduced to photographer Jean-Paul Goude. The rapper-designer enthused that he’s a huge fan, saying, “[I’m] inspired by your work all the time.” (Not that we were eavesdropping or anything.) A moment later he added that he’d love to work with Goude on a music video, for which he had some ideas in mind, to which Goude agreed. Apparently West wasn’t just schmoozing—a moment later his assistant confabbed with Goude’s to set up a meeting. We can only imagine what kind of surreal magic those two will make together. Now there’s another reason besides The City to stay tuned to MTV.
