Scott Sternberg just sent us an e-mail with links to his imaginative re-think of the lookbook. There are a few hazy Polaroids of this season’s too-cool-for-school celebrity tomboy Kirsten Dunst (last season’s was Michelle Williams), along with some sharper shots of Sternberg’s Spring 2009 collection that you can also see here. But we’re particularly fixated on the video—a soundless montage of Kiki dressed in Boy’s louche, preppy Spring collection walking across a white seamless at an almost dreamy clip that’s about as far as you can get from the Karlie Kloss klomp (sic) or Gisele Bündchen’s famed strut. No, Dunst has more of an amble that’s by turns sexy, down-the-aisle formal, and even sort of goofy. It’s not ideal for, say, doing market editor requests, and if it were a fashion show—you might rip your Moleskine to shreds in frustration.
