Many were wondering if Beatrice Inn, the West Village nightclub that has held the lock on fashion week after-hours for a few seasons, was going to continue its dominance during the Fall ‘09 collections. (Well, at least I was.) And while there have been some competing venues-Chloe 81 was allegedly raving Friday night, and the pop-up Le Baron at the Bowery Hotel has been packed these past three eves-Sunday night’s post-Purple party proved that the low-ceiling lounge is still happening. Bob Colacello made his debut appearance there with friends Adam Lippes and Coco Brandolini. Olivier Zahm and Leigh Lezark were huddled in the front room. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld came in with her own Euro posse and saddled up next to a table occupied by Zoe Kravitz and Waris Ahluwalia. Every time it seemed like someone would leave, another group would come in. “Where are they all coming from?” asked Kate Bosworth, who showed up with her stylist, Cher Coulter, and Sophia Hesketh after the Mulberry dinner and the Topshop party. “It’s like a revolving door.” And then, as if on cue, Natalia Vodianova and Justin Portman arrived. “This is my last one, I promise,” Vodianova said of her nocturnal schedule. “But, sadly, probably not my last time here this week.”
