Blasblog: Coco Moves From Backstage To Front Row

Coco Rocha knows how to work a runway—who could forget when she jigged out at the opening of a Jean Paul Gaultier show a few seasons ago? But on Monday, starting at Carolina Herrera, we noticed the currently carrot-topped stunner not backstage at the shows but sitting front-row. At Thakoon she revealed her front-row status was part of an on-air hostessing gig she’s lined up with the E! Network. Although she was mum about titles, air dates, or any other figures, she did admit that while she’s usually a chatterbox, occasionally she finds herself stumped when it comes to the big interviews. “I love fashion, and I love the people in this industry, but sometimes I’m at a loss for words,” she said. “And then I’m like, ‘What do you think of shoes?’ ” But with her big personality and warm smile, she seemed to be doing OK. If all else fails, jigging is one way to loosen people up.
