It’s All About The Comeback: Vionnet, Seinfeld, Cute Butts, And More
Italian fashion scion Matteo Marzotto announced his purchase of Vionnet yesterday, the storied French house that Sophia Kokosalaki briefly rejuvenated in 2006. Up next: Rodolfo Paglialunga (he’s got Prada on his CV) will design the label’s first collection, which will hit the catwalks in June.
Seinfeld is coming back to prime time. His don’t-call-it-a-reality-show will feature couples with marital problems who will be laughed at by Jerry and his famous cameo-appearance-making friends. At least that’s how we understand it. [Variety]
Just Cavalli…is back! That was fast. The man himself will be on hand at an exclusive presentation today to discuss (cue ominous music) the fate of the label. [Fashion Week Daily]
Good news, ladies: Men’s butts are back. Not that they ever went anywhere, but now we might actually get to check them out. [NYT]
Lindsay Lohan may be getting her 37th second chance. Her savior this time comes in the form of Warren Beatty, who wants to work with Lohan but only if she’ll live with him and Annette during filming. Sounds like summer camp. And rehab. [Fox News]
