Narciso’s Night Out

Despite several designers forgoing after-parties this week, Narciso Rodriguez was having none of it. “We’re focused on the collection for so many months and then there’s that short time on the runway, and then you need to relax,” the designer declared at his elbow-to-elbow post-show fête at Rose Bar, where Julianna Margulies, Jessica Seinfeld, and Sonia Braga held court on the couches. Kanye West, with eight members of his entourage, sat at a blocked-off table next to Claire Danes. “I feel much more invested emotionally when I go see Narciso’s shows,” Danes said. “I’m always proud of him.” On his end, Rodriguez was looking forward to a fashion detox. “Tomorrow I try to get back to a normal routine,” he said. Where will he begin? “There’s some sort of yoga involved,” he said, and left it at that.
