Designer update

Contemporary designer Geren Ford may be new to the market, but she’s already getting tons of attention. Her presentation Wednesday afternoon had the room full of editors from Vogue, Teen Vogue, and W, CFDA’s Stephen Kolb, and plenty of friends scoping out her collection. Raised on both coasts in a house full of artists, Ford’s creative upbringing is readily apparent in her pieces. My favorite example of her background was the beautifully printed Yves Klein-inspired scarf she gave away to everyone who came to support her.
