Yea, Nay, or Eh: Elizabeth Hurley in Roberto Cavalli

March 2, 2009  5:07 pm

At last night’s party for Roberto Cavalli’s new snakeskin MasterCard (hey, if anyone’s going to do it, it’s Roberto), Elizabeth Hurley was on the scene in a white-hot frock from the man himself. The hair is Brigitte Bardot huge, the eyes are Cleopatra smoky, and that décolletage…well, let’s just say she was right not to pile on a necklace. Speaking of skin, Hurley is certainly showing more of it than most fortysomethings, but her safety-pin wearing days are long gone. You could argue her relative sartorial maturation is right on track. What do you think? Is she working it? Or is it too much Liz?

  1. She looks absolutely knock-out, which is why I’m sort of bummed she picked what might be the most boring dress Mr. Cavalli has ever made (that being an obviously very relative statement).

  3. Eh…it doesn’t matter who she’s wearing, she’s stuck in a style rut.

  5. i thought she was a VERSACE girl. and no she switches teams with the 2nd tier copycat! He has been copying Versace and Dolce & Gabbana for years. Now he steals the muse and their famous dress shape too! what gives?
