Yea, Nay, Or Eh: Lady In White

We can’t imagine Tilda Swinton deigning to bother about a rule like not wearing white before Memorial Day, so it was no surprise to see her in an icy Giambattista Valli coat at the screening of The Limits of Control last night. To us, the actress looks every inch the polished lady. Our question to you: Is her look Queen Mum or yum?

NAY!! This color and dress would be great on someone else, but not a really pale person like her with blond hair. The dress would be better if it was tighter at the the waist. If she was a bit more tan this could work, she looks just so washed out in the picture. NAY NAY NAY

Her look isn’t either Queen Mum or Yum, it’s simply said awfull. The combination she wores is below ones dignity. She made a terrible mistake to choose this ensemble, if it is of Mr. Valli or not. I see this as a bad (clothing) day for her. It doesn’t fit her at all. Sorry to say, arriverderci.

  3. kerileanne says:

yum. i love it. she’s not afraid to make bold choices and she always wears the clothes, they never wear her. this season it’s all about the shoulders so she’s spot on trend, too.

  4. Karensky says:

Queen mum…skin, hair, frock … too pale…too boxy…maybe red lips would have helped

i reallly do not like the dress… it doesnt look good…. needs alittle something to make it look worth wild….
