Yea, Nay, Or Eh: White Before Memorial Day?

It’s still chilly in London, but that didn’t stop Sienna Miller from exiting the Groucho Club last night in a very summery Chloé suit. To cope with the temps, she paired the white blazer and skirt with black tights and suede Topshop boots. Do you think it works? Have you ever “winterized” your lightweight wares by pairing them with heavier materials?

Between the dark (navy?) tights and the black boots, Sienna looks far from summery. Dress for the weather, and the rest will fall into place.

Yea, I could wear white all year round but sadly, I’ll never look as good a Sienna Miller in it. I wish I did.
Yea, why not where white before labor day? Besides, how many do you know that really follows that “rule”? It is a yes all the way, She looks nice and fresh like spring.

i definitely wear my spring/summer clothing in the fall/winter. Black tights are my favourite with a nice pair of black boots it really polishes up an outfit. you just have to be careful to make sure the colour/mood of the summer matches the outlook of the cold wintry day.
