The CFDA Gets Out The Vote

May 26, 2009  3:25 pm

Fashion insiders have until June 5 to cast their ballots for the upcoming Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards, but you—yes, you—have until June 9 to weigh in. With the introduction of the Popular Vote Award, sponsored by L’Oréal Paris, the fashion-loving public can nominate its favorite designers for the first time ever. “Anyone can win this,” said CFDA executive director Steven Kolb in a statement. The online voting site will feature looks from the Designer of the Year and Swarovski Award nominees, as well as about 100 other talents who show during New York fashion week. So, who will it be? Log on to www.wwd.com/popular-vote beginning tomorrow to make your vote count.
