Daphne’s Scent, Jude’s Love Child, And More…

Daphne Guinness, in collaboration with Comme des Garçons, is bringing her signature scent to Maxfield and Barneys. It’s got a “woodsy and kind of jasmine-y, tuberose-y sort of thing” going on. [WWD]

André Balazs has made certain guests at the Standard hotels will be able to bare all this summer. Quiksilver bikinis and board shorts will be available for purchase from poolside vending machines in August, so now you really have no reason to stay dry. [WWD]

Guess what? Jude Law’s going to be a dad! Yes, it came as a surprise to him, too. [People]

There’s been a design-team shakedown at Salvatore Ferragamo. Massimiliano Giornetti, the menswear designer, will now be taking on womenswear as well. He will replace Cristina Ortiz, whose designs were a bit too “sexpot,” for Fall 2010. [WWD]
