Will Fall shape up to be a rehash of Balmainia and biker chic? Tough to say, but we’re getting our first inclinations of the season’s key silhouettes now that celebrities are hitting the red carpet and airport runways in longer sleeves and heavier fabrics. A surprising early favorite is Stuart Vevers’ polished Parisian look for Loewe. Victoria Beckham paired a polka-dot blouse with voluminous white trousers at Heathrow earlier this week, and yesterday Sienna Miller posed for the London premiere of G.I. Joe in a chic military-inspired studded top and pleated pants from the label. Though both ensembles are actually from Vevers’ Spring collection, not Fall, we’re excited at the prospect of understated, timeless elegance becoming the look du jour. What do you think everyone will be wearing come September?
