Pint-Size Perfection, Eau De Wang, And More…

August 27, 2009  12:51 pm

The Olsens may be rich, but their production office for The Row is kind of janky: “The furniture is nicked, the windows mossy with grime, and the five employees who share the two-room office have to step around a stack of fabric bolts.” Never fear. The clothes are “perfect,” according to Bergdorf Goodman’s Jim Gold and Barneys’ Julie Gilhart. Well, they should know. [NYT]

Vogue editor and costume designer Marit Allen, who passed away in 2007, surely would have wanted her considerable (read: totally massive) wardrobe to go to the fashion set. Her generation-spanning duds—from Biba shifts to Gaultier suits—will be up for auction in London next month. Road trip? [WWD]

If Alexander Wang had a fragrance, it would smell like sweat. Read on for more illuminating insights into our favorite wild-child designer. [W Editors’ Blog]

  2. I’m not talking about the Olsen twins, because they are little spoild kids. No I’m now talking about an another child which is named Alexander Wang. If seen him before with this kind of shorts. He’s not an English schoolboy so please I hope he understand that despite that he was a winner at the CFDA he has to dress himself better then he the last times did. Really the skinny legs are awfull with a proper jeans or whatever trouser he would look more sophisticated or trendy. Now it’s a crying shame, but perhaps this will be his image for years to come just as Mr. Karl Lagerfeld always wearing black suits and gloves. Okay we will see, but I prefer the style of Cavalli and Armani. Ciao

  3. Considering the Olsens look that way themselves it not surprising their production office is the same
