Yea, Nay, Or Eh: Sandra Bullock Cuts Things Short

August 27, 2009  10:13 am

We love the dress (Lanvin), we admire the actress (Sandra Bullock), but overall we rate this look a nay for the simple reason that Bullock’s black suede ankle boots interrupt the line of the silhouette, making her long legs look shorter than they are. We say pay less attention to Steve (this pic was taken at the L.A. premiere of All About Steve) and more to accessories. You?

  5. this is doing her no justice. the shoes are too substantial, the skirt may be too short…or both! XO JS

  6. Agreed. The booties weigh everything down and cut her legs short. Too bad. She could have nailed it.

  8. I have to agree with you Laird, this time not an extended comment, because I would critisize her to hard. And that’s not what she deserve, every celeb has sometimes an off day and you can bet she had it at the premiere of All about Steve. Grazie

  9. now that is a hot mess. her stylist should be stoned. it really does look like she is trying to cram every trend into one look. such a shame because she is a beautiful woman

  10. Even the dress didn’t do any favour to her! Looks like she came straight from dusting her furniture ;-) As it is the dress divides her into two, making the bottom look bulky, then the booties cut the vertical plane of her legs horizontally at her ankles, on the whole nothing seems to add up !Some black opaque tights might have saved the day!
