La Serenissima: Daria On Modeling 2.0

We arrived at Stefanel’s 50th Anniversary party hosted by Mario Testino and Daria Werbowy just as the photographer had slipped away to the Prada show. But the sublime model was still in the house and in fine, friendly form. In fact, Werbowy was possibly the most relaxed person amid the crowd of nervous fashion week faces with tight schedules. “I hardly do shows anymore,” she explained. “I’m on to the next step of my career.” But she mused on the biannual month-long, four-city runway frenzy, “It’s a strange life when you are in that scene. Everything is a rush for four very intense weeks of the year and suddenly you get back to your real life, and by comparison it suddenly looks empty.” Hmm…something to think about as we round the bend of week three.

Hahahah Jasmine, a good article of yours, but never forget from age 14 she was in the spotlights. So she has no reason to feeling empty, as she said. No this is a golden Canadian/Polish girl and she made it in the industry. The only thing in which I’m disappointed is that she’s doing (almost) no fashionshows anymore. Just as MariaCarla Boscone she’s a woman which can change her whole attitude and is a woman with thousand faces. Beautiful are this kind of models, they always surprise you and maybe shock you, but what’s the definition of fashion? Create something new if it is shocking or not. Be out of the order of the average people, actually be yourself and believe in yourself and designs. Arrivederci

ms daria werbowy was outstanding as the face of the dior-valley of the dolls fw08 season – she was great in the balmain show this season (but alas, wasted on excessive shredded clothing ! – please see my comments under schiffer-campbell-herzigova and lohan-ungaro threads!) \,,/
