Yea, Nay, or Eh? Ferocious Fergie

It’s said that imitation is a form of flattery, and looking at this snap of Fergie at the Grammy Nominations Concert, we think Rihanna should feel complimented, indeed. Clearly, Mrs. Duhamel has been studying RiRi’s style trajectory in depth, combining in one ensemble Rihanna’s current obsession—shoulder spikes—with the half gloves the “Umbrella” singer rocked prior to discovering Chanel hand jewels. What’s your opinion: Is Fergie looking Fergalicious or like a follower? Tell us below.

Her stylist should be fired. Fergie looks like she is wearing a costume. The outfit clearly does not work well with her frame and does not fit her public persona.

  2. JNicole1392 says:

Oh My God…what happened to her? I love Her but..This look??…so not her…even the hair hidding her face like rihanna put her’s once..]:

  3. edgynesss says:

its ok…i dont think its big time copying rihanna, to me if something is nice you just rock it, even if someone you know rocked it before, u do it your own way !!!

  4. RuthDiG says:

Well, I think Fergie is a copycat, but the truth is that she looks way better than Rihanna, so: Go, Fergie!

  5. QueenMadre says:

The gloves ruin this look for me. Still LOVE Fergie.

  6. FashionistaLab says:

follower, definitely. you can’t try to pull off badass with that hair and that pose. She should have pulled back her hair and done a less lady-like pose, at least.

  7. ToucanBoutique says:

I say nay… too many trends at once and if she wants to be all trends at once, she should at least keep the hair up or off her face.

  8. diaboliqueguan says:

Karl Lagerfeld had been wearing wearing half gloves for years, and Kylie Minogue had on a few occasions and in Red Blooded Woman vid, and those spikes is so Thierry Mugler. Rihanna has nothing original!

  9. LDuVall says:

I personally like the dress, just not on her. It makes her look thick in the torso area and is overall not that flattering

  10. gisellegg says:

This outfit would be more fitting with Rihanna however she wouldn’t have been safe with her footwear like Fergie is. The dress and handwear alone are powerful elements but look at the way Fergie stands, it just does not work.

  11. Valerio says:

Imitation is a form of flattery, YES, but also means that a woman don’t have an style of herself. It’s a compliment for the woman/girl who wores this on an earlier occasion/event, but copying a style isn’t very sophisticated or stylish for the woman who does that. It means a lack of style of the woman involved. Live can be bittersweet, but this is mine opinion. And I would advice woman dress yourself up the way you like, but don’t copy another woman, if she’s a celeb or not. Ciao
