Yea, Nay, or Eh?: Pamela Anderson, Comeback Kid

December 17, 2009  12:03 pm

Pamela Anderson is usually spotted around her home base of Malibu, sporting cotton beach dresses and Uggs. But she’s left the beach behind for a stint playing the Genie in the London stage adaptation of Aladdin, and with a few other irons in the fire—reportedly a clothing line and pop album, both in the works for early 2010—she’s stepping up her fashion game, too.

For the full London look, there’s no one better than Dame Vivienne Westwood, and the designer has taken a real shine to Anderson this year: Pam appeared in her Spring ‘09 print campaign and on the runway for her Fall ‘09 show. English paps snapped the actress outside a London eatery looking positively edgy in a Westwood Anglomania plaid wrap coat and Red Label booties. We love a fashion comeback here at Style.com, and we have to say she looks good. What do you think? Can Pammy work a high-fashion look, or is she better off sticking to the red swimsuit?

  1. Looks like she has wrapped a blanket around herself and her shoes stick out like a sore thumb!

  2. From what I have observed she might pull it off for as long as she needs to but it’s not likely to stick - which is fine with me.

  3. the outfit looks delightfully casual and elegant (not being the biggest westwood fan) - it actually might look good in whistler b.c. - let’s be nice to this kind sprite from vancouver island - how tragic there have been no Model Behavior updates for a month - we deserve a topic on british columbia’s top runway models ms coco rocha, kelsey van mook, samantha rayner & tasha tilberg, & photo model pasha perry !! \,,/

  4. Good move on Pam’s part. Westwood makes her look more expensive.

  7. Big Nay.. We are all a lil tired of this one.. even tho she’s been outta the limelight for quite some time. We still need a few more years.
