Alice In France, Two Centuries of Smythson (Or Whatever You Want!), And More

We’ve documented the U.S. invasion, but Alice mania has now taken Europe, too. Paris’ Printemps is dedicating its windows to Wonderlandiana from February 1 to March 13, with special dresses designed for the occasion by Haider Ackermann, Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen, and Maison Martin Margiela, and special shoes from Nicholas Kirkwood (pictured).

Fellow Euro retailer Net-a-Porter is celebrating its millionth order with a bang: Register tomorrow at and you’ll be in the running to win a $40,000 shopping spree, no purchase necessary. The store helpfully notes that this sum will buy you a Smythson Diary every year for almost 200 years. Non-Methuselah entrants will probably be just as captivated by the selection of Louboutin, Balmain, and RM by Roland Mouret.

GQ is taking a poll for the most stylish man in the world, but it’s tipped the scales a bit: Front-runner Johnny Depp is on the mag’s February cover. He’s so stylish, he didn’t even bother to wear a shirt. [GQ]

And the blogs are buzzing that Lara Stone is engaged to her beau, Little Britain star David Walliams. Proof positive: Hot girls really do love funny guys. If you listen closely, you can hear legions of eligible bachelors worldwide polishing up their knock-knock jokes. [Modelinia]
