Yea, Nay, Or Eh? Amanda Seyfried, Shining Star

February 2, 2010  5:35 pm

On the cover of Vanity Fair’s Young Hollywood issue, which hit the Web this week, Amanda Seyfried looks every bit the blushing naïf, right down to the schoolgirl’s saddle shoes. But at the premiere of Dear John in L.A. yesterday, she opted for sexier attire. Giorgio Armani’s backless silk cocktail dress is more naughty than nice, with its plunging neckline and mini-length skirt, and it’s playing against type for a girl known more for sugar than spice. Everyone’s entitled to stretch their boundaries, of course, but we’d prefer Seyfried in something a little less flashy. What do you think? Do you like Amanda’s metallic style, or is this a look that deserves a “Dear John” of its own?

  3. I lovee the dress you never see her like do her thing. So, i think this is a good style for her. I mean, yess it’s a lil flashy but, for her it’s something new. Not like it’s an everyday thing. So, i feel like this is a great outfit and i can’t wait to watch the two movies she made! :)

  4. Yay!
I like this; her pose is kind of awkward though.

  5. I’m not sure about this dress something about the cut doesn’t flatter her, but she’s a beautiful girl.
