We’re Mooning Over Tod’s Fall Collection
Kerry Washington was oohing and ahhing over a fitted red ski parka at Tod’s yesterday, where Derek Lam was showing off his Fall ready-to-wear for the label to editors and friends of the house. We, on the other hand, can’t stop thinking about this coat. a) It’s in fall’s must-have color: camel. b) It has the sleek, slightly sixties, vaguely space-age shape that started to gain momentum on the Paris runways (Lam’s starting point was the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing). And c) It’ll look great with our favorite pants of the season: Long, lean, and flared at the ankle, they also happen to be Lam’s handiwork, specifically look 16 from his Fall show.

The jacket has an excellent fit and is structured, which certainly favors a silhouette drawn. The caramel color is warm and light and goes well with others are neutral or not. Well, it’s quite easy to match. The model combines with straight skirts or pants and can be used closed or open with a blouse underneath. For me, it seems perfect!

I think the coat is fantastic. It’s also got a little military feel about it. The sleeve length is great to wear long gloves. It goes with various accessories – fantastic job all in all!

Absolutely agreed with the above comments. This coat looks very nice and has its own unique personality, shared some design factors of a military coat. I like the color, very smooth and warm feeling. Please visit my site at http://www.lima365.net
I am in love with this coat. Where is the rest of the collection? I need to see it.
I love this look.
The lines on the model are great and caramel colours of the skirt and jacket are such a great match.
I agree with Leila that it is perfect
