He Went To A Land Down Under

Australian fashion week has just wrapped in Sydney, and’s roving street-style photog, Tommy Ton, was there to document Aussie cool. No surprises here: Apparently PS1′s, leopard print, and Wang booties have gotten just as strong a foothold down there as they have here in the Northern Hemisphere. But don’t expect the increasingly popular silver tresses. Gray looks work better for gray days. Down in sunny Sydney, they’re thinking pink. Check out all his photos here.

I like the idea of how they combines pieces to makes casual looks and stripped. When he ventures, it can be hit or miss but attempts are always valid. The classic looks with pieces of knitting and jeans always work well and are parts that can always stay in the wardrobe, with the assurance that we will always use them to mount several different looks and beautiful. With trends in other pieces so bold that last only a “summer”, it does not. Combining trends and classic is the science and art of fashion. Must be serious and funny at the same time.
