The Rx: Take Two Of These And Call Us In The Morning

Given that it’s high season for benefits, just about every night offers an opportunity to bid on designer merch for one or another good cause. Tonight is no different: L’Wren Scott has helped to plan the (don’t ask) New York Dermatology Group’s Rx Haiti benefit. But where L’Wren goes, good designers tend to follow, and there’s plenty of I’d-buy-retail on the block. Accessories are a particular strong suit, with bags from Lanvin (top) and Proenza Schouler (bottom), as well as art by Elizabeth Peyton, Sante D’Orazio, and Jack Pierson. Of course, a few friends in high places haven’t hurt, either. Mick Jagger—don’t call him Mr. Scott—has generously donated a few rock treasures, from a signed copy of the Stones’ Exile on Main Street to a signed, cherry red Gibson baby grand.
