Style.com: Now With More Menswear Coverage, More Tim Blanks
June 17, 2010 12:47 pm
I’m thrilled to announce that Style.com will be covering the menswear collections, starting with the Spring 2011 shows in Milan this weekend. That not only means all the designer collections will be housed under one roof, but it also marks Tim Blanks’ return to the front line of men’s show reviewing. Tim, who, among his many services to fashion, hosts Style.com’s runway videos, reviewed menswear for Men.style.com for five years; I’m delighted that he’ll now be bringing his wit and unique perspective to the readers of this site. Glenn O’Brien, a.k.a. The Style Guy, has called Blanks’ writing one of fashion’s “few bright spots of intelligence,” to which I’d only add that Tim never lets his intelligence get in the way of a good time. I hope that starting Saturday, you’ll tune in for his reviews, our photos of every collection, and much more, all of which will also be available via our iPhone app. In the meantime, please take a look at our guide to some of the other power players on the men’s scene, including the guy with the best knees in the business.
