Lights On At Lanvin

July 26, 2010  9:55 am

There’s no holding a Lanvin shopper back. The label’s new Madison Avenue store wasn’t even fully finished last week when the well-dressed masses descended. It’s a mark of Alber Elbaz’s magic touch that even the toniest Upper East Siders were willing to forego air-conditioning and shop by candlelight to get a first peek inside the not-yet-electrified store. But the lights are on and the air is cool now, and the store is officially open and ready to go—all five floors and 6,875 square feet of it. Looks at the shoe, bijoux, bridal, and bag collections are below.
Lanvin, 815 Madison Ave., (646) 439-0381.
