Who Is Nora Arnezeder?
Scouting the front row at Dior Couture is always an exercise in celeb-spotting, but one of our favorites flies a little farther under the radar. She’s Nora Arnezeder (left), the French-born, half-Austrian, half-Egyptian actress and chanteuse who’s been charming designers and cineastes for a few years now. (Her breakthrough role, for which she scooped up a few most-promising awards, was in the Christophe Barratier-directed Paris 36.) Couture doesn’t bring the actresses out of the woodwork like ready-to-wear does (though Arnezeder did share front-row space at Dior with Blake Lively and Jessica Alba), but we’d say the actress is one to keep your eye on—she’s sure to pop up throughout the week. As a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld’s, who called her “fresh, new, spontaneous, and full of life” in Elle, and a face of Guerlain, she’s got all her French fans lined up. Including, of course, Olivier Zahm, who’s been snapping her for Purple Diary. But what else would you expect?
